Wishcast Wednesday - How do you wish to sparkle?

The incredible Jamie Ridler has done it again!  Her Wishcast Wednesday prompt is right on the money!  (As usual!)

This week's Wishcast prompt is:

How do you wish to *sparkle*?

The reason that this is such a good prompt for me this week, is that I am currently working on an upward rise of attitude, intention, consciousness...

The last few weeks (or even longer) have been a roller-coaster of emotions, thoughts, and energy.  I've made a few decisions about my life--one of them being joining a 12 step program in regards to my eating habits (or addiction as I've come to realize).  The first meeting was last night and it was good.  Another decision is to cut back on a lot of the things I was trying (unsuccessfully*) to take part in.  I've paired down to the most important things I wish to participate in or accomplish.

Which leads me to my *sparkle* list...

I wish that my new updated blog (coming soon) is sparkly, delicious, and inviting--and a place where others feel worthwhile spending a bit of time.

I wish to sparkle with my creativity--this year I'm going to do my first craft show, put on a few Dream Board workshops with a friend, and I might even have a creativity blog (working on that too!)

My 12 step journey--I know it will probably be frought with lots of emotions, but my wish is that with the support of peers I will sparkle my way to a level of consciousness that I have yet to achieve.

I wish to sparkle with my relationships--that they are fun, easygoing, and enjoyable.

I wish to radiate sparkle!

We Create What we Focus On

Hi everyone,

It's really been a long time since I've written anything. I, unfortunately, got stuck in a severe rut of self-doubt, exhaustion, anxiety, self-pity, and many other feelings of lack. I will need to look at the reasons why I have been, or put myself into, the type of situation that seems to bring out these types of feelings--it revolves around a certain type of person who seems to stifle me. Be it in a job, in a relationship, or other situation, every time I think I've dealt with why, and feel I'm a stronger person and ready to "take on" this type of person, I always, slowly, seem to fall back into a place of cocooning--shutting down and out.

My intent to write today is not due to the above because I'm really sick of that focus--on the "negative"--I want to focus on the positive! And create more of that in my life!

I'm changing my focus on the fact that I feel I'm getting back on track again and feeling pretty good overall. I still have a ways to go...and I still have personal development/growth that I'm focusing on, but I feel like I'm moving forward, upward, onward!!!

I intend to write here more often, and try to grow the blog into some...thing...

I'm not sure what yet, but I'm going to take a class on "developing your own website", and... looking at other blogs, and other creative people, I feel I have something to offer. I did a bit of redesigning the look of the blog page today and I'm liking the new look! What do you think?

I'm excited for my future, tomorrow, the next day, and the next...what great thing does God/Spirit/Presence have in store for me? What great thing will I accomplish next?

Bring it on (gently please)! I can!

(And if I haven't already mentioned it...Yes!...I do LOVE exclamation marks!!)

It all began with a dream...

So, a friend of mine at my church - The Centre for Conscious Living, in Winnipeg, Manitoba - who is very creative, fun, and inspiring, started an adventure for people to sign up to (see her page on the sidebar, ABC Creativity). This adventure is called "Creative Dreamers".

I signed on to do this a few weeks ago but have been "busy" with other things so haven't had the time (or made the time) to start. Today, I took some time on my lunch break to start the ball rolling. I added a "list" to my sidebar and will keep my dreams listed there so they will be visible all the time!

I'm pretty excited, but noticed too that when I first started my preliminary list (that is written in my Visioning Journal) they were was not specific..."Increase my income", "Find love", etc. So...I'm redoing them slowly, thinking about each one and what it is I really want for each preliminary "dream". As they become specific I'll add them to my list on the sidebar.

That's it for today. I really need to work on spending more time here--maybe that could be a dream?!?! I'll add it right away!
